In my client projects, I have mostly worked with innovative renewable energy solutions and especially novel wind and geothermal inventions. I have excellent attention to detail and a rigorous academic approach to finding answers. Working on confidential projects and with patent offices is very familiar to me. Some of my published work can be found in the Journal of Physics.
My clients have included the University of the Arts Helsinki, the Finnish Museum of Photography, and independent scholars. Whether your work is creative, scientific, or personal, I would love to help bring your writing to life.
In addition to citizenship applications, I specialise in preparing residence permit applications for remigration (paluumuutto), studies, and entrepreneurship. On top of successful client projects, I have also obtained residence permits for studies and remigration for myself. Having been through the process of moving to Finland and eventually gaining Finnish citizenship, I know how stressful it can be. I will treat your application like my own.
Descendants of Finnish citizens may qualify for a residence permit based on remigration; in some cases, even in the third generation. When applying for such a permit, it is important to have thorough documentation and a well-prepared application. My strengths are in my attention to detail, deep familiarity with genealogical searches, and ability to work with archives and public agencies to secure required legalised records proving a connection to Finland.
I additionally offer relocation, settlement, and integration services to organisations for their employees moving to Finland, as part of my work to develop and internationalise Finnish working life. This is an excellent investment in international employee well-being and retention.
My pro bono commitments are currently: FULL.
I presently serve as a Board Member of the Fiskars Village Association and Deputy Board Member of the Finland Society. I have previously served as a Board Member of the Finnish Association for Impact Assessment and on the steering committees of two master’s degree programmes at the University of Helsinki (Atmospheric Sciences and Urban Studies and Planning).
When I have extra time, I occasionally contribute to public discourse and advocate for nature and biodiversity protection, democracy, children’s rights, and the right to participate in public decision-making.
I was previously active with the Extinction Rebellion movement and sometimes still provide pro bono consulting services to local citizens groups and NGOs regarding nature protection.
